Well, today i decide that i shall try to write about the acceptance of death and anything related to the main topic.
Allow me to begin with the fact. The fact is, we're all going to die, that is something humans have known all along, ever since the first human stepped foot on Earth, he was doomed to die. We do not share the priceless power of other intagible things like evil, love, etc. that may never be destroyed. Thus, on emphasising men's path to his death, i bring forth the 1st point. Every second that flashes by ticks your life shorter by a single bit. Another interesting thing about life, is that one may never know exactly when he will die, nor how, nor why.
Thus we should all live to enjoy what we have, not simply because of the obvious fact that we have it, but because it is good to enjoy as much as you can from it WHILE ITS THERE, for when it is gone, the sorrow you may face from the loss, of this thing you have held so precious, may be as boundless as the diameter of this universe. Thus it is good to appreciate and cherish what life awards you, while you can.
Another thing that many have problem talking about, is the inevitable death itself. On mentioning the prospect of this word DEATH, many turn away not wishing to hear anymore. Why? Clearly because of the one thing that holds us all down to where we are and hinders us from growing, the emotion, FEAR. People say fear is for the weak, but no, fear is for all, it may be good, and it may be hazardous. When is fear good? Fear is good when it leaves you nervous, and obstructs complacentcy from engulfing you. It makes you fight for what you want. Yet fear is bad when it makes you hesitate. When it makes you think, "DO i really want this, what would happen if it went wrong" and by the time one has completed the tedious task of thinking whether it is the right course, the oppurtunity would often have dissolved.
Well, with fear or no fear, deep inside we know one day we will die, and thus, there is no use in trying to avoid death, because when it finally grips you, only then will you realise you are not ready to go, there are so many things left to do, so many people to see. However if u live everyday like it were to be your last, then you would be expecting death, you would be ready, you would have prepared to let go. Then the pain would not be as overwhelming.
I present a quote from the song Ghetto by Akon:
No need to cherish luxuries
Cause everythin' come and go
Even the life that you have is borrowed
Cause your not promised tomorrow
So live your life as if everydays' gon be your last
Once you move forward can't go back
Best prepare to remove your past
So the main thing one should keep in mind when it comes to facing death, is that running away is just going to make the pain more unbearable, and that you should live your life to appreciate all you have so that you can peacefully be relieved of life's struggles. Also, learn to accept death as another phase of life, everyone will go through it, its best to be ready
I now present three quotes that should generally give a more philosophical view to whatever i have said above:
1)Every man dies - Not every man really lives
2)We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will.”
3)You have a choice. Live or die. Every breath is a choice. Every minute is a choice. To be or not to be.”
So now go out there and face the world and get ready for the time where you can face it no longer. There is no use in mourning for that which has come to pass, for your tears aren't time machines. Accept that it has gone, and move on to find something to fill its place. Only then would you know the value of acceptance.
